Look Out San Diego is a free news and information service. You may read, link to, and share our content for personal, non-commercial use. You may not:
- Republish our articles in whole or in substantial part without written permission
- Frame our content within another commercial site without permission
- Use automated means to scrape, mirror, or copy the Site
- Misrepresent yourself or your affiliation when interacting with the Site or its staff
3. User-Submitted Content
When you submit a story tip, photo, comment, or other content to Look Out San Diego (“Submission”), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, edit, publish, and display that Submission in connection with our editorial activities. You represent that you have the right to make the Submission and that it does not violate any third party’s rights.
We may decline to publish any Submission at our editorial discretion.
4. Intellectual Property
All original content on the Site — including articles, photographs, graphics, and the Look Out San Diego brand — is owned by Look Out San Diego or its contributors and is protected by U.S. copyright and trademark law. Photos credited to outside photographers (such as Unsplash contributors) are used under those photographers’ license terms.
5. Third-Party Links and Affiliate Disclosures

8. Comment Moderation
Comments on articles are moderated. We reserve the right to remove comments that are off-topic, abusive, illegal, or commercially promotional. Repeat offenders may be banned.
